Here's How It Works

One or two days a week, solo or embedded with your team. I find what's actually broken, start fixing it in the first month, and own the problem until it's fixed. Engineering delivery comes first, then product and go-to-market when that's where the work is stuck.

Month One: Diagnose

The first month of the retainer. Clear answers, real work.

Week by week:

Week 1: I sit with your team, join key meetings, and review your tech stack, your processes, and how work moves from product to sales. I find out what's actually broken.

Weeks 2-3: I start fixing the most urgent problem. You get weekly updates. No surprises.

Week 4: We agree on the three to five problems I own next, ranked by business impact, and the numbers that show they're fixed.

After month one:

The first fix is shipped, not planned. The numbers we agreed to move have a baseline.

You know which problems I own next, ranked by business value. You also have a straight read on your architecture, your team and hiring gaps, and where AI would speed up the work.

Then You Decide

After month one, you have two options:

Continue the Retainer

I keep owning the fixes, one or two days a week. Your team learns along the way. Clear milestones, typically three to six months total.

One Defined Project

Pick the highest-impact fix and I'll deliver it against a fixed scope and end date.

Why This Works

01

No Wasted Time

I find the real problems, not symptoms. Most companies are fixing the wrong things.

02

Low Risk

One month shows you real work. You decide if I continue. No long-term commitment upfront.

03

Fast Results

Most companies start seeing improvements within weeks of implementation.

What It Costs

I don't bill hourly. We agree on scope and outcomes upfront, so you know the cost before we start.

Embedded retainer — one day a week
from $8,000 CAD/month
Embedded retainer — two days a week
$14,000 CAD/month
Pre-LOI red-flag review
$9,000 CAD
Full technical due diligence
from $30,000 CAD
AI engineering programs, fixed-scope projects
quoted on scope

Retainers typically run three to six months. Rates are in Canadian dollars. USD quoted on request.

Compare it to the alternative, not to a salary. Hiring a full-time technology executive means a recruiting fee, an equity grant, a severance obligation, and a three-month ramp before anyone knows if it worked — a two-year bet made on a two-hour interview. I start in week one, and you can end it monthly.
