When you submit a contact form. Your name, email address, company name where the form asks for it, your message, your answer to “How did you find me?”, and basic referral information about your first visit — the referring website and any campaign tags on the link you arrived through. That referral information is stored in your browser and sent only if you choose to submit a form.

When you browse. Standard analytics: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and how you reached the site. This is collected through Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and PostHog.

No accounts, no payment details, and no sensitive personal information are collected on this site.

Form submissions are used to reply to you and to discuss possible work. They are not added to a marketing list and no newsletter is sent from this site.

Analytics and referral information are used to understand which channels bring people here, so that effort goes where it is useful. This is aggregate interest, not individual tracking.

Nothing is sold, rented, or traded. Data is processed by a small number of service providers acting on instructions:

• Mailgun — delivers contact form submissions to the inbox.
• Google Analytics and Tag Manager — website analytics.
• PostHog — website analytics.

These providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.

Saffie Ventures Inc. operates a private tool that publishes posts to Luis Saffie’s own LinkedIn and X accounts, using access those platforms grant to the account holder.

It is single-user and internal. It has no sign-in, is not offered to anyone else, and does not read, request, store, or process the personal data of any other LinkedIn or X user. Tokens authorise one account: Luis Saffie’s.

Contact emails are kept as ordinary business correspondence for as long as the enquiry may matter. Analytics data is kept according to each provider’s default retention. Referral information stored in your browser is removed when you clear your browser storage.

You may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email [email protected] and it will be handled within 30 days.

Analytics can be blocked with any standard content blocker or browser do-not-track setting. The site works normally without it.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
